lassarina: Down to the wire...

How are you all doing? Did you catch up over the Thanksgiving holiday? If you're still not there, fear not! You'd be amazed what deadlines can do for some people (I've been known to churn out 7000 words in 3 hours under deadline at times.)

I hope you've all had a better November than I did, and I'm looking forward to seeing you again next year :) Feel free to leave gripes, victory dances, and other things in the comments.

Also, if you have suggestions for how I can make this community better next year (I know I kind of fell off the wagon this year, and I'm sorry for that), please leave those as well!

I suppose the icon says it all. >.> I had to rush a bit, though, what with finals and all.

The finish line is the finish line, no matter how you got there! Congratulations!

Thank you! How did you fare yourself?

Hit the 50K mark on Saturday the 28th (so after a 3-day-late start, functionally did NaNo in 25 days, of which I'm pretty proud!) and I figure I've got about 6K more to go (on top of the 52 I've already got) before the rough draft is finished. I nearly always add in the editing phase, rather than subtract, so I project that if final-rough-draft is ~60K, final-submission-draft will be ~75-80K.

Oh, grats! I'm... only a bit over halfway in my novel, I think. I need to finish the first draft before I go on to editing etc. I suspect it will be about 90K, maybe a bit less. >.> I could probably save it for the next Nano and have enough to do another 50K.

Well done, to you both! And sorry I'm so late with the congrats...
